Tap + on the Library, search for the title or scan its barcode, and pick paper, ebook or audio. Then tap the book to start a timer, or use Log to jot down your minutes after.

Tap + and choose Open an ebook file you own, or open the file with Rubrica from Files, Mail or your browser. DRM-free EPUB, MOBI, AZW3, FB2 and CBZ files work.

Books bought inside another store's app are usually locked to that app with DRM, and Rubrica can't open those. You can still add the book by title and track your reading.

Yes. It shows on your lock screen, and on iPhone in the Dynamic Island. You can pause or stop it from there.

Export your library as a CSV from the other app, then in Rubrica go to Me › Your books › Bring your history in. Shelves, ratings and dates come across, and covers fill themselves in.

It keeps your library, notes and stats in sync across your phones and tablets, and it turns on Friends. Book files stay on your phone. You never need one to read or track.

Each of you gets a private friend code. Swap codes, and you can see each other's shelves and whatever else you choose to share. There's no public feed, no likes and no strangers. From a friend's page you can remove, block or report them.

Open Me › Get Pro and tap Restore a purchase, signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought it with.

Subscriptions are managed by your store. On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments and subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of what you paid for.

Me › Your books › Back up and restore saves everything to a file you keep. Signing in also keeps a synced copy.
